Pickering Place Park

Build in 1995, Pomegranate Center designed Pickering Place Park to provide a focal point and pedestrian access between two previously disconnected commercial areas. The park features a 400-seat amphitheater, a fountain, two plazas, and a 120’ pedestrian bridge over a wetland. Mosaics depicting native wildlife dot the various pedestrian plazas. Monolithic granite stones decorated with modern “petroglyphs” Illustrate the history of the area and form a dramatic backdrop to the amphitheater which is used to stage festivals and community celebrations.
